What is your role at TreeHouse?
Director of Supply Chain/Solutionator – I help clients working with replenishment and working to improve supply chain.
What do you like most about working at TreeHouse?
TreeHouse is a family! We have grown over the years in ways that were not imaginable in the beginning. God has brought together a strong team of diverse talent, with many experiences that together can exceed our clients’ expectations.
Tell us about some exciting things going on in your industry right now.
OTIF which is Walmart’s On Time In Full initiative. This is going to raise the bar for everyone and see how much the supply chain can be pushed. With GRS and a one-day receiving window it will help the stores/clubs touch the merchandise fewer times and help improve on shelf availability for the customer. Implementation of this is like draining a pond, the less water in the pond the more you see things that need removed/fixed.
What was one of your favorite projects to work on?
Analyzing the seasonality of an item and getting into the customers’ head to understand why customers buy it when they buy it. Then creating a forecast and plan to optimize the sales!
What is a community project you are involved in?
Each summer I go with Eagle Family Ministries on a Mission Trip to Wilmot, AR and support this area of the state throughout the year. We do construction projects, sports camps, Vacation Bible School, clothing give away, school supplies for the students, makeovers for the girls, Easter Egg Hunts, and special things for the community at Christmas.
What products do you get most excited about?
I enjoy products that bring a solution to the customer. Sometimes those things the customer doesn’t even know they need a solution for until the item is on the shelf. It is awesome to watch an item go viral on the internet and see customers’ reaction to those items.
When you are not working, what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Woodworking and going off-roading in my Jeep! I also enjoy going to concerts at the Walmart AMP and taking walks with my wife on the new trails in the area! On any Saturday in the Fall I will be at the University of Arkansas cheering for the Razorbacks in a football game or during basketball season calling the Hogs at Bud Walton Arena.
What is your favorite thing about living in Northwest Arkansas?
Getting out in nature and seeing God’s creation! The Buffalo River is less than a 2-hour drive and such a beautiful area! It is waking up in Boxley Valley with a light fog hanging in the valley and seeing elk out in the field or taking a canoe down the Buffalo River!
